Akron Springfield Assembly of God

Scripture tells us to "Enter His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise." We here at ASAG, believe that music plays a vital role in our time spent with the Lord. We are each called to live a lifestyle of worship that points people toward a relationship with God. At ASAG we desire to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ through music and usher the congregation into His presence each and every service.
 
Ministry opportunities are as follows:
 
Sanctuary Choir:
The choir sings for each Sunday morning service. We practice from         5:00 - 6:00 on Sunday evenings prior to our evening service. A time of prayer and fellowship is then spent from 6:00-6:15. Age 15 is the recommended minimum age. 
 
Kid's Choir:
Kid's choir is available. They minister for special events and times. i.e. Christmas, Mother's Day, VBS, among other times.

Praise Band/Worship Team:
We have a worship team with multiple musicians that are on a rotational basis. Our Worship Team consists mainly of the worship leaders, keyboard, acoustic, electric and bass guitars, percussion, brass and woodwind instruments.

Technical Stewards:                                                                        There are always places to "plug in" in running the technical side of the services such as audio and visual.  If you have an interest as a Tech Steward,  please contact the church office.

Soloists/Ensembles:
Select services feature a soloist or ensemble.

We are always looking for people who are gifted in worship and talented in music and have a heart for serving the Lord.
